Role Purpose:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily financial operations, oversee F&B cost controls, and ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple restaurant branches. This role is essential in safeguarding financial health and supporting strategic expansion across the Gulf region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile daily branch revenues, POS system data, and third-party delivery aggregator reports.
- Prepare and analyze Food & Beverage (F&B) costing reports, tracking yield, inventory variances, and waste percentages.
- Process and manage accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of food supplier and vendor statements.
- Audit and process monthly payrolls, aligning them accurately with multi-branch employee schedules and timesheets.
- Conduct comprehensive monthly inventory audits and oversee physical stock counts across all locations.
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial closings, preparing accurate profit and loss (P&L) statements for each brand.
- Maintain strict compliance with local financial regulations and internal corporate policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Proven, verifiable experience working as an Accountant specifically within the Food & Beverage and restaurant industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data auditing, matching, and financial analysis.
- Hands-on experience with modern restaurant POS systems and accounting ERP software.
- Strong understanding of restaurant supply chain cycles, inventory management, and food cost formulas.
- Valid and transferable residency in Kuwait.
