Short Description
Join an Offshore Support Vessel operating in Qatar as a 3rd Engineer and support the safe operation and maintenance of critical engine room systems. This role is ideal for engineers with offshore DP vessel experience looking to further strengthen their offshore engineering background.
Function Description
As a 3rd Engineer, you'll play an important role in keeping the vessel operational and supporting safe offshore activities.
- Execute engine room rounds, inspections, and planned maintenance activities.
- Notify senior engineers of defects and support troubleshooting of machinery systems.
- Guarantee reliable operation of engines, generators, pumps, and auxiliary equipment through proactive maintenance.
- Implement maintenance tasks in accordance with company and manufacturer procedures.
- Nurture a safe working environment by maintaining strong housekeeping and safety standards.
- Enhance vessel reliability through effective monitoring of fuel, lubrication, and cooling systems.
- Expand your offshore engineering expertise while supporting DP maintenance activities.
- Remain an active member of the engineering team, contributing to safe and efficient vessel operations.
RequirementsMandatory Requirements:
- * A-III/2 Certificate of Competency.
- DP Maintenance Certificate (Engine Room).
- BOSIET.
- H2S.
- ERM.
Preferred Experience
- * 12 months effective sailing time onboard CSV, DSV, or MPSV vessels.
- 2 months effective sailing time onboard DP2 KPOS vessels.
- NOC approved status preferred.
