The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting and evaluating the electrical and electronic systems of vehicles. They will perform diagnostic tests, identify electrical faults, and assess the condition and functionality of automotive electrical systems and components.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and evaluate vehicle electrical and electronic systems
- Diagnose electrical and electronic faults using diagnostic equipment
- Test vehicle ECUs, sensors, wiring systems and electronic components
- Use automotive diagnostic tools to identify faults and analyze vehicle data
- Inspect electrical systems in modern, hybrid and electric vehicles
- Document inspection findings and prepare accurate technical reports
- Ensure inspection equipment is properly maintained and operational
- Work closely with mechanical and body/chassis inspection teams
- Contribute to team efforts by maintaining inspection quality and operational standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field
- Minimum 2 years of practical experience in the automotive field
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems
- Knowledge of ECU, CAN Bus and automotive diagnostic systems
- Experience with automotive diagnostic tools is preferred
- Knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicle systems is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
