Role Objectives
Warehouse Operation Lead is a professional member of Breadfast family who will be responsible for directing and engaging operations employees to achieve productivity goals. In addition, will manage a shift and will spend most of the time coaching and leading the operations team to efficiently and safely achieve production and quality goals. The role will collaborate with various teams on implementing continuous improvement initiatives and leading practices.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Communicate regularly team goals and results and determine and track warehouse KPIs
- Execute the daily work plan by adjusting the workflow to meet goals.
- Provide front-line feedback on staffing needs to the Supply Chain Leader and Operations Leader.
- Provide coaching through observations and provide performance feedback.
- Track and communicate warehouse team performance.
- Identify training and cross-training needs and conduct on-the-job training with the warehouse team.
- Perform process quality checks and program management.
- Communicate customer-specific requirements.
- Review Logistics center performance against customer requirements.
- Ensuring the quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS
- Strong understanding of warehousing operations with experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 1-3 years of direct supervisory experience required.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of professionals.
- High attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends and patterns.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
