Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Veterinarian role located in Cairo at Fahoos Laboratory. The Veterinarian will conduct clinical evaluations, interpret diagnostic test results, and provide evidence-based recommendations for treatment and preventive care. Day-to-day tasks include examining animals, collecting samples, requesting and reviewing laboratory analyses, and documenting findings in medical records. The role involves collaborating with laboratory staff and other veterinary professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses, quality control, and compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. The Veterinarian will also communicate clearly with clients and partners, participate in case discussions, and contribute to ongoing improvements in clinical and laboratory protocols.
Qualifications
- * Strong clinical veterinary skills, including animal examination, diagnosis, treatment planning, and preventive care.
- Competence in laboratory-related skills such as sample collection, interpretation of test results, and familiarity with common diagnostic procedures.
- Knowledge of veterinary pharmacology, pathology, and infectious diseases, with the ability to apply evidence-based medicine in daily practice.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with colleagues, clients, and partners, including clear case reporting and consultation.
- Attention to detail and adherence to quality assurance, safety, and regulatory standards in both clinical and laboratory settings.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (or equivalent veterinary degree) from an accredited institution; eligibility for relevant local licensure or registration.
- Prior experience in a clinical or diagnostic laboratory environment is preferred but not required.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advances in veterinary science and diagnostics.
