Role Description The Urban Designer & Landscape Architect Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm El Obour. The role involves developing urban design concepts and landscape plans for residential and commercial projects, from initial feasibility studies to detailed design. Daily tasks include preparing master plans, site layouts, and landscape schemes; coordinating with architects, engineers, and project managers; and ensuring compliance with local regulations, environmental considerations, and safety standards. The role also includes producing design drawings, presentations, and reports; reviewing site conditions; participating in design reviews; and collaborating with construction teams to ensure that design intent is accurately implemented. The Urban Designer & Landscape Architect Engineer is expected to contribute creative solutions that enhance community livability, sustainability, and aesthetic quality across Al Ashraaf’s developments.
Qualifications
* Strong foundation in Urban Planning and Comprehensive Planning, with the ability to create functional, sustainable, and context-sensitive master plans.
* Solid understanding of Architecture and Urban design principles, including building-site relationships, circulation, and integrated mixed-use environments.
* Proficiency in Landscape Architecture, with skills in designing open spaces, streetscapes, greenery, and outdoor amenities that complement urban form.
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Urban Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or Civil/Environmental Engineering with a focus on urban and landscape design.
* Ability to use design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar BIM tools, GIS, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) to develop and communicate design concepts.
* Experience working on large-scale urban or mixed-use development projects, preferably within the real estate or construction sectors.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and spatial design skills, with attention to detail and site-specific constraints.
* Effective communication and collaboration abilities, including coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and presenting design proposals to stakeholders.
* Knowledge of Egyptian planning regulations, building codes, and environmental standards
