Role Description The Technician role at Imar Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar. The Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment and systems used in the storage, presentation, and handling of cosmetic products, following company standards and safety procedures. This role includes conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting technical issues, and coordinating with suppliers or service providers to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime. The Technician will document maintenance activities, keep records up to date, and communicate clearly with supervisors and colleagues about technical needs and improvement opportunities. The position may also involve supporting store or warehouse operations during technical setups, product displays, and equipment upgrades.
Qualifications
* Strong technical skills in installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical or electrical equipment, preferably in retail or warehouse environments.
* Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, read basic technical diagrams, and follow manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines.
* Good organizational and documentation skills for tracking maintenance schedules, recording work performed, and reporting issues clearly.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with supervisors, colleagues, and external service providers.
* Experience in retail, logistics, or cosmetics distribution is an advantage; familiarity with beauty products or related equipment is a plus.
* High school diploma or technical/vocational certification in a relevant field (e.g., electrical, mechanical, or maintenance technology).
* Commitment to safety, reliability, and quality in daily work, with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and continuous improvement.
* Willingness to work on-site in Doha, Qatar and adapt to a fast-paced, customer-focused business environment.
