Role DescriptionWe are looking for a Technical Architect to join our team in Amman on a full-time, on-site basis.
The Technical Architect will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing architectural technical documentation throughout all project stages, with a strong focus on Revit, BIM coordination, construction drawings, detailing, and as-built documentation.
The role requires close coordination with architectural, structural, MEP, and site teams to ensure that design intent is translated into accurate, coordinated, and buildable construction documentation.
Key Responsibilities Develop and manage detailed architectural drawings and construction documentation using Autodesk Revit. * Prepare and maintain coordinated BIM models throughout different project stages. * Develop architectural models and documentation from design development through construction, handover, and LOD 600 / as-built documentation. * Prepare detailed shop drawings, construction drawings, details, sections, elevations, schedules, and as-built drawings. * Review architectural drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements to ensure technical accuracy and consistency. * Coordinate architectural models and drawings with structural, MEP, interior design, and other disciplines. * Identify and resolve clashes, design conflicts, and constructability issues before and during execution. * Incorporate site modifications, RFIs, consultant comments, and approved changes into project models and documentation. * Maintain accurate project documentation, drawing registers, revision records, and BIM information. * Support site teams by providing technical clarification and resolving architectural detailing and execution issues. * Ensure drawings and models comply with project specifications, applicable codes, client requirements, and company standards. * Participate in technical meetings with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams. * Support project handover by preparing accurate as-built BIM models, drawings, schedules, and final project documentation*.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. * Strong professional experience using Autodesk Revit for architectural modeling and technical documentation. * Strong understanding of BIM workflows, model coordination, and LOD requirements, including experience with high-detail/as-built models up to LOD 600. * Proven experience preparing construction drawings, shop drawings, architectural details, and as-built documentation. * Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, materials, finishes, construction methods, and site execution. * Ability to coordinate architectural work with MEP and structural disciplines. * Experience with AutoCAD and BIM coordination tools such as Navisworks is an advantage. * Strong understanding of project documentation, drawing control, revisions, RFIs, submittals, and technical coordination. * Experience in contracting, construction, fit-out, or project-based environments is highly preferred. * Strong attention to detail and ability to identify technical and coordination issues. * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate between the design office and construction site. * Ability to work full-time on-site in Amman, Jordan*.
Preferred Experience Candidates with hands-on experience taking projects from design development and BIM modeling through construction, as-built documentation, and final handover* will be highly preferred.
