Role Description The Structural Engineer will work on-site in Amman, Jordan in a full-time capacity, contributing to the structural design of buildings and other civil structures. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing structural analysis and calculations, preparing design drawings and models using CAD software, and developing technical details and specifications. The role involves reviewing and coordinating designs with other engineering disciplines, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards, and supporting the preparation of reports and documentation for permitting and client review. The Structural Engineer will also assist in resolving design issues during construction, participate in site visits when needed, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver projects on schedule and within scope.
Qualifications

* Candidates should possess strong skills in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to building and infrastructure projects.
Candidates should possess strong skills in Structural Analysis and Calculations, including the ability to verify load paths, member capacities, and overall structural safety.
Candidates should possess strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), with experience creating and modifying structural drawings and models.
Relevant bachelorâ€™s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering; professional licensure or progress toward licensure is an advantage.
Familiarity with local and international building codes and standards, and basic knowledge of construction methods and materials.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, prepare clear technical documentation, and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in an on-site office environment.
Previous experience in structural design or consultancy work is preferred but motivated early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.
