Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Representative role based in the Beirut Governorate, Lebanon, focusing on customers in the construction industry. The Sales Representative will identify and develop new business opportunities, manage existing accounts, and promote Sika’s solutions for construction and building projects. Daily responsibilities include visiting construction sites and client offices, conducting product presentations and demonstrations, preparing quotations, and following up on leads and proposals. The role involves close collaboration with technical and customer service teams to address client needs, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. The Sales Representative will also monitor market trends, competitor activities, and project pipelines to help shape sales strategies and achieve sales targets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of building materials, construction processes, and project stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and maintain long-term customer relationships, including contractors, consultants, architects, and distributors.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical products in clear, practical terms.
- Self-driven work style with effective time management, territory planning, and prioritization skills.
- Comfortable working on-site and visiting construction projects regularly; valid driver’s license is an advantage.
- Basic proficiency in using CRM tools and standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations) to manage accounts and reporting.
- Fluency in English and Arabic; additional languages are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and environmentally responsible practices in line with Sika’s sustainability focus.
