Reports to: Senior Manager, Academic Assessment and Accreditation
Purpose:
The job holder is responsible for supporting the Head of Academic Assessment and Accreditation (AAA) for Onsi Sawiris School of Business in the development of academic improvement activities including academic rankings, academic impact reporting, and school-wide data reporting which supports the school's effort in maintaining its triple crown status and its accreditation with other stakeholders such as AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA, Middle States, SCU, NAQAAE, and others. The job holder will be responsible for the implementation of ACADEM software.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the academic rankings process for all academic programs at Onsi Sawiris School of Business
- Stay updated with current rankings’ events for taking our rankings forward
- Assemble and organize data from different stakeholders needed for the data report
- Responsible for the design and implementation of an academic impact reporting and documentation system
- Formulate and edit academic impact reports
- Collaborate with faculty and staff for the data compilation needed for the accreditation reports and relevant annexes
- Collaborate with students on preparing the student report needed by EQUIS
- Responsible for data collection and entry on EQUIS platform for datasheet submissions
- Responsible for assembling SCU reports and following through on re-equivalency process
- Responsible for handling student requests for SCU letters
- Manage the logistics related to visits, orientations, and meetings for the AAA Office
- Assist with accreditation and assessment activities when needed
- Follow-up assignments, responsibilities and deadlines set by the Head of Academic Assessment and Accreditation, collaborating and sharing workload when necessary
- Responsible for gathering departmental course portfolios on an ongoing basis
- Compile a checklist of all items included in each course portfolio per department and share it with the respective department chair and assistant for completion
- Manage data population and update the new system for faculty and school data to generate accreditation reports
- Manage all financial invoices and payments on SAP
- Monitor and keep track of the leaves of AAA
- Prepare the office’s annual timeline of tasks
Requirements:
Minimum Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Experience:
- At least five years of previous experience including two to three years in related fields
Skills:
- Excellent command of English and Arabic, written and spoken
- Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and administration skills
- Ability to work in teams.
- Strong Computer skills, i.e. Excel and Word
