About The RoleClassera is looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale strategic project in Oman.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing complex, high-impact projects, preferably with government entities or ministries in Oman, and will be experienced in managing multiple stakeholders, vendors, project teams, and executive-level relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale strategic project in Oman.
- Own project planning, execution, governance, timelines, budget, risks, and deliverables.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key client and government stakeholders.
- Manage cross-functional teams and coordinate with internal teams, partners, and vendors.
- Establish strong project governance, reporting, escalation, and risk-management processes.
- Ensure milestones and contractual deliverables are completed on time and to the required quality.
- Manage scope changes, dependencies, issues, and project risks proactively.
- Prepare and present project status updates to senior management and executive stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Requirements
- * 8+ years of Project Management experience, with proven ownership of complex projects.
- Strong experience managing large-scale government, public-sector, or enterprise projects.
- Proven project delivery experience in Oman is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of working with ministries, government entities, and senior stakeholders in Oman.
- Experience managing technology, digital transformation, EdTech, IT, or similar projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Strong experience in project governance, risk management, budgeting, and executive reporting.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is highly preferred.
