We are looking for a highly experienced Automotive Electrical & EV Diagnostic Engineer to join our new specialist workshop in Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
Our workshop will focus on Chinese vehicles, especially BYD, Changan, JETOUR and other Chinese EV and hybrid brands.
We are looking for someone with strong practical workshop experience who is confident in advanced diagnostics, automotive electronics and EV systems.
Responsibilities include:
• Automotive electrical and electronic diagnostics
• EV and hybrid vehicle systems
• High-voltage and battery systems
• BMS, ECU, VCU and related control modules
• CAN-BUS diagnostics and communication faults
• Computer diagnostics, coding and programming
• Electrical fault finding and repair
• Wiring diagrams and electrical systems
• Charging systems and electric drive systems
• Diagnosing complex faults on Chinese vehicles
• Training the owner and local technicians
• Helping us build and develop our EV and electrical department
We are especially interested in candidates with experience working for BYD, Changan, JETOUR, Geely, Chery, GWM or another Chinese automotive manufacturer, dealer or technical training center.
Strong practical experience is more important to us than theoretical knowledge alone.

The ideal candidate has:
• Several years of automotive electrical or EV experience
• Strong experience with EV and hybrid vehicles
• Advanced diagnostic skills
• Experience with professional diagnostic software and equipment

• Ability to explain technical problems clearly and train others
• English communication skills required
