Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role for a tea boutique located in a mall in Shuwaikh. The Sales Associate will welcome customers, introduce and explain tea products, provide tastings where applicable, and help customers choose items based on their preferences. Responsibilities include handling point-of-sale transactions, maintaining accurate cash and inventory records, and ensuring that displays are well-organized, clean, and visually appealing. The role also involves restocking shelves, monitoring product quality, and following company guidelines for hygiene and safety. The Sales Associate will contribute to meeting sales targets, promoting special offers, and delivering a friendly, professional customer experience that reflects the brand’s standards.
Qualifications
* Customer service and sales skills, including the ability to engage customers, identify needs, and provide product recommendations.
* Basic retail operations skills, such as cash handling, point-of-sale system use, and inventory tracking.
* Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain product features clearly and interact respectfully with diverse customers.
* Product knowledge and interest in tea, with willingness to learn about different blends, origins, and preparation methods.
* Organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining store cleanliness, visual merchandising, and accurate stock levels.
* Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible hours, and support peak shopping times, including weekends and holidays.
* Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or food and beverage is an advantage but not mandatory.
* Basic English communication skills; additional language abilities relevant to Kuwait are beneficial.
