Position: Rubber Lining Inspector
Location: Aqaba, Jordan
Duration: 15 October to 15 December (On-site, continuous assignment excluding weekends)
Job Role
We are seeking an experienced Rubber Lining Inspector to oversee and inspect rubber lining activities for a new storage tank project in Aqaba, Jordan. The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring the rubber lining application process, witnessing inspections, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Witness and inspect all rubber lining application activities.
- Monitor surface preparation, lining application, curing, and testing processes.
- Verify compliance with client specifications, approved procedures, and applicable standards.
- Ensure quality requirements are consistently followed throughout the project.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain inspection records.
- Coordinate with contractors, client representatives, and project stakeholders regarding inspection activities.
- Report non-conformities and recommend corrective actions when required.
Requirements:
- Graduate Engineer.
- Minimum 10 years of inspection experience.
- Proven experience in rubber lining inspection for storage tanks or similar industrial equipment.
- Experience inspecting rubber lining applications with a cumulative inspected area of at least 10,000 m².
- Strong knowledge of IS 4682 Part 1, BS 6374 Part 5, or equivalent rubber lining standards.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and inspection procedures.
- Good English communication and reporting skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Fertilizer, petrochemical, chemical processing, oil & gas, or industrial storage tank projects.
- International site-based inspection assignments.
- Third-party inspection experience.
