Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic “Store Manager” to lead our toy retail shop. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing daily operations, and creating a fun, engaging shopping experience for children and families. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for toys, retail expertise, and the ability to inspire a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Leadership & Operations:
Oversee all aspects of store operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Manage inventory levels, ordering, and stock control to minimize shrinkage.
Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained to enhance customer appeal.
Handle opening/closing procedures, cash management, and financial reporting.
Sales & Customer Experience:
Resolve escalated customer issues with professionalism and care.
Monitor sales trends and adjust strategies to maximize performance.
Plan and execute in-store promotions, events, and seasonal campaigns.
Team Management & Development:
selection, train, and supervise staff, including Assistant Managers and Sales Associates.
Create staff schedules and conduct performance reviews.
Motivate and mentor employees to achieve sales goals and career growth.
Maintain a positive, energetic, and inclusive work environment.
Business Administration & Compliance:
Analyze sales reports and KPIs to drive business decisions.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and labor laws.
Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and corporate offices as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:
5+ years in retail management, preferably in toys, children’s products and stationery
Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
Skills:
Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution abilities.
Excellent business acumen with proficiency in retail software (POS, inventory systems).
Creative merchandising and promotional planning skills.
Traits:
