Role Description The Retail Cleaning Supplies Shift Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza, responsible for overseeing daily operations in the cleaning supplies retail section. This role includes supervising team members during assigned shifts, organizing stock levels and product displays, and ensuring that store standards for cleanliness and safety are consistently met. The supervisor coordinates shift schedules, assigns tasks, and supports team members in delivering customer-focused service, including answering product questions and assisting with purchases. Additional responsibilities include monitoring adherence to health and safety regulations, reporting operational issues, supporting inventory counts, and collaborating with management to improve efficiency and customer experience.
Qualifications
* Strong supervisory skills, including experience leading shift teams and coordinating daily retail operations.
* Practical knowledge of commercial cleaning products, applications, and best practices in a retail environment.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with team members, management, and customers.
* Solid understanding of health & safety standards and the ability to enforce safe working practices.
* Previous experience in retail, FMCG, or cleaning supplies is highly beneficial.
* Ability to work on-site in Giza, stand for extended periods, and manage physically active tasks.
* Organizational skills for managing stock, documentation, and shift scheduling.
* Basic computer literacy for using point-of-sale systems and reporting tools.
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in retail management or occupational safety is an advantage.
