Main job duties and responsibilities:
- Set Quality compliance objectives and ensures that targets are achieved.
- Develop Quality Department Annual Budget.
- Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a Quality Plan to bring the Company’s Quality Systems and Policies into compliance with the organization's strategic objectives and any other requirements such as quality system ISO requirements, etc.
- Drive the life cycle of Quality System documentation, such as Change Controls, Service Level Agreements, Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Process Maps, etc.
- Ensure that a document control procedure is adopted to approve, review and update all changes to critical documents within the scope of the Quality Management System.
- Ensure that records are established and maintained to provide evidence that the Quality Management System is being followed and that there is a system in place for the identification, storage, protection, retrieval, retention time, and disposition of such records.
- Ensure that the performance of the Quality Management System is reviewed at planned intervals to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness. This review means assessing opportunities for improvement and the need for changes to the Quality Management System.
- Report to top management on the performance of the Quality Management System and any need for improvement.
- Utilize a broad understanding of Total Quality Management to provide Quality Assurance support, mentoring, and coaching for different departments/sectors to assure that activities are undertaken in compliance with WDC’s Policies and Standard Operating Procedures, as appropriate.
- Conduct Quality Internal Audits as per the approved schedule to detect process and procedural deficiencies. Support the affected areas to ensure appropriate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) are undertaken to correct any observations.
- CAPA management follows up to evaluate the significance of audit findings and coordinates timely responses and ensures closure of any incompliance issues.
- Perform Supplier/Distributors audits as required.
- Prepare for/coordinate external audits.
- Support, mentor, and coach new and existing Quality Assurance team.
- Support/provide training to the organization to build quality awareness.
- Maintain the knowledge of legislation and regulation changes that may affect (directly or indirectly) the Quality Management System of WDCs.
- Participate in problem-solving and provide solutions if needed.
- Monitor Quality risk management activities.
- Perform any additional tasks that might be necessary for easier workflow, within the mainframe of the job’s specialty.
Job requirements: Educational background and previous experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in the related field.
- Minimum 10 years’ prior experience in Quality Assurance Management, with supervisory experience (Manager).
- Minimum 12 years’ prior experience in Quality Assurance Management, with supervisory experience (Senior Manager).
Knowledge and Functional Skills:
- Experience implementing and/or successfully managing a Quality Management System is a prerequisite for the position. Six Sigma or other analysis experience is preferred.
- Qualified to a minimum of lead auditor level in a relevant discipline.
- Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and teach others.
- Advanced level computer skills.
- Using logical reasoning in problem-solving with the ability to multi-task, set priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
