Role Description
The Purchasing Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities for MYA Restaurant & Lounge. This role includes sourcing and evaluating suppliers, preparing and processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of food, beverage, and operational supplies. The Purchasing Officer will monitor inventory levels, compare pricing and quality, and support contract negotiation to optimize cost and value. Daily tasks also involve maintaining accurate purchasing records, coordinating with kitchen and operations teams on supply needs, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations. The role requires close collaboration with finance and management to track budgets, manage vendor relationships, and support smooth restaurant operations.
