Your new position and responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the engineering function, including process design, optimization, and performance
- Leadership, development, and empowerment of the engineering team
- Design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes with focus on efficiency, quality, and cost
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies
- Responsibility for industrialization activities and successful new product launches (SOP readiness)
- Coordination of engineering projects and cross-functional teams
- Ensuring compliance with automotive standards and internal requirements
- Development and maintenance of technical documentation
- Ensuring process capability, capacity planning, and operational stability
- Providing technical support to production and resolving complex engineering issues
- Monitoring engineering KPIs and deriving improvement measures
- Implementation of new technologies, equipment, and production methods
- Ensuring alignment between product design, process development, and manufacturing
- Contribution to cost optimization and productivity improvements
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
Your Profile
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechatronics or related field)
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in engineering within the automotive industry
- Proven experience in process engineering, industrialization, and manufacturing optimization
- Strong knowledge of automotive standards, Control Plans, and production systems
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
- Minimum 3 years of proven leadership experience and strong team management capabilities
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage projects and drive implementation
- High level of accountability, initiative, and adaptability
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English, Arabic and French required, additional languages are an advantage
- Willingness to travel
