ABOUT GASTRO FOOD: Gastro Food is a growing, multi-brand Food & Beverage holding group in
Egypt, managing a premium portfolio of homegrown concepts including What The Crust (WTC),
Tehina, Guilty, Rollout and Como. We are currently undergoing a comprehensive operational
restructuring to transition from a post-merger integration phase into a highly scalable,
corporate-backed enterprise. With a strategic 5-year vision to dominate the regional market and
establish institutional governance, we are building a world-class team to execute our ambitious
geographic and brand expansion plans.
ABOUT THE ROLE: As the Marketing Lead, you will be the driving force behind our top-line B2C
revenue and customer visibility. Reporting directly to the Group General Manager, you will close
critical brand awareness gaps and architect aggressive growth strategies for both established
brick-and-mortar branches and seasonal pop-ups. You will act as the commercial bridge between
operations and leadership, taking creative brand visions and turning them into measurable foot
traffic and sales. This role requires a hybrid of creative flair, commercial acumen, and ruthless
agency management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Brand Strategy & Top-Line Growth:
● Develop and execute comprehensive promotional calendars designed to drive targeted
revenue growth across all brands (e.g., bridging revenue gaps in underperforming locations).
● Collaborate with the Culinary & Creative Advisory Board to ensure all marketing campaigns
align with brand authenticity and new menu innovations.
● Architect and launch high-impact go-to-market strategies for new branch openings, seasonal
deployments (e.g., Sahel pop-ups), and new brand concepts.
Physical Branding & Customer Experience:
● Define and regularly oversee the upkeep of physical brand-customer touchpoints across all
branch locations to ensure a premium, consistent guest experience.
● Oversee all ongoing physical branding projects and collateral updates, including menu tweaks,
new menu item cards, store-front boards, on-site events, loyalty cards, and brand
collaborations.
Commercial & Agency Management:
● Audit, direct, and manage all external digital marketing, PR, and creative agencies to ensure
maximum ROI and alignment with corporate KPIs.
● Oversee our outsourced Community Management team, alongside taking direct ownership of
creating and managing all Google Maps and Google Business profiles to ensure local search
dominance.
● Own the creation, optimization, and constant upkeep of proper aggregator menus (e.g.,
Talabat, elmenus) to maximize digital conversion rates and ensure brand consistency.
● Identify and secure strategic brand partnerships, sponsorships, and commercial tie-ups thatelevate the Gastro Food portfolio in the Egyptian market.
Cross-Functional Execution:
● Partner seamlessly with the Head of Operations to ensure
branch-level readiness for all promotions, mitigating "front-end growth outpacing back-end
supply."
● Track, analyze, and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns to the Executive
team, pivoting strategies based on data-driven insights.
YOU HAVE:
● 5+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, or commercial growth, ideally within
the F&B, QSR (Quick Service Restaurant), or FMCG sectors (agency-side professionals with
heavy F&B portfolios are also welcome).
● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
● A proven track record of managing external agencies and outsourced talent to deliver
cohesive, high-ROI campaigns.
● Deep understanding of the Egyptian digital landscape, local consumer behaviors, and F&B
market trends.
● A highly commercial mindset—you understand that good marketing isn't just about beautiful
content; it's about driving measurable P&L growth and branch footfall.
● Agility to thrive in a fast-paced environment, seamlessly juggling the distinct voices of multiple
unique brands under one corporate umbrella.
● Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of pitching strategies to Founders
and the Board.
