- Translate documents, emails, reports, presentations, contracts, and other business materials from Korean to English and vice versa.
- Provide consecutive interpretation during meetings, calls, conferences, and business discussions.
- Support communication between Korean-speaking and English-speaking teams.
- Review and proofread translated materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, grammar, and appropriate terminology.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business and company information.
- Assist with Korean-language correspondence and documentation.
- Research industry-specific terminology and maintain relevant translation glossaries.
- Coordinate with internal departments to clarify translation requirements and deadlines.
- Ensure all translations are delivered accurately and within agreed timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Languages, Korean Studies, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Fluency in Korean and English, both written and spoken.
- Previous experience as a translator/interpreter is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Korean and English grammar, vocabulary, and cultural nuances.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common translation/documentation tools.
