Our client is a prominent financial institution seeking an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) expert to support the organization's cybersecurity strategy and oversee enterprise-wide identity governance, access control, authentication, authorization, and IAM operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing the organization's Identity & Access Management program, ensuring robust identity governance, access controls, compliance, and security across enterprise systems and applications.
This role will partner closely with Information Security, IT Operations, business stakeholders, and external vendors to develop, implement, and maintain IAM processes, controls, and technologies aligned with regulatory and security requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Identity & Access Management
- Develop, implement, and maintain IAM policies, standards, and procedures.
- Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access lifecycle processes.
- Administer identity stores, authentication systems, authorization platforms, and directory services.
- Resolve identity conflicts, duplicate accounts, and access governance issues.
- Integrate new applications and platforms into the enterprise IAM framework.
- Manage data feeds and identity synchronization across target systems.
IAM Operations & Security
- Own and manage Single Sign-On (SSO), federation, authentication, and authorization solutions.
- Monitor and audit user access to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate access-related security incidents and support remediation activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IAM controls are integrated into wider cybersecurity initiatives.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and best practices to enhance IAM maturity.
Process Improvement & Governance
- Analyze and document business and functional IAM requirements.
- Design and enhance identity management workflows, controls, and processes.
- Ensure operational and security requirements are met across IAM services.
- Support employee awareness initiatives related to IAM policies and procedures.
- Prepare management reports, compliance updates, and progress reports for senior leadership.
Candidate Profile
Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Business Management, or related discipline
- 10-15 years of Information Security experience.
- Minimum 6 years in progressively responsible Information Security or IAM-related roles.
- Proven experience managing enterprise IAM environments and identity governance initiatives.
- Strong background in authentication, authorization, access management, provisioning, and directory services
Technical Expertise:
- * Strong expertise in Identity & Access Management (IAM), including Active Directory and identity governance, Single Sign-On (SSO), federation technologies, authentication and authorization frameworks, account provisioning and deprovisioning, access reviews, compliance monitoring, information security controls, and security incident investigation and response.
- Experience with Sailpoint IAM is a huge bonus
- Experience with BeyondTrust PAM, or Delinea/CyberArk is acceptable, but PAM foundations must be strong.
Regulatory & Framework Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of ISO 27001, local and international cybersecurity regulations, cloud security and governance frameworks, and enterprise security standards and best practices.
