Linder Industrial Machinery Company is seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain construction equipment in both shop and field environments. What You'll Do
- * Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy construction equipment and related components
- Perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain repairs
- Develop repair plans and determine necessary parts, materials, and tooling
- Complete repairs safely and efficiently while ensuring quality standards are met
- Prepare service reports, work orders, warranty documentation, and repair recommendations
- Order and manage parts through company systems
- Communicate repair status and findings with supervisors and customers
- Maintain company vehicles, service trucks, tools, and equipment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Perform shop and field service work as assigned
Qualifications
- * High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree in Diesel Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, or related field preferred
- Equivalent apprenticeship or hands-on experience considered
- Experience working on construction, mining, agricultural, trucking, or heavy industrial equipment
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred but not required
Preferred ExperienceExperience working on:
- Komatsu or similar heavy equipment
- Diesel engines
- Hydraulic systems
- Electrical and electronic diagnostics
- Undercarriage, drivetrain, and powertrain systems
