Role Description The Event Technical Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar, responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of events from planning through execution. This role coordinates audiovisual, lighting, staging, and related technical systems, ensuring they meet event specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards. The Event Technical Manager works closely with project managers, production teams, vendors, and venue staff to design technical setups, manage installations, troubleshoot issues, and supervise technical crews during rehearsals and live events. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing event requirements, preparing technical plans and budgets, conducting site visits, organizing equipment logistics, and monitoring system performance throughout each event. The role also involves documenting best practices, evaluating new technologies, and contributing to continuous improvement in event production processes.
