Role Description This is a full-time, on-site English Second Language Teacher role based in Giza. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging English lessons for learners at various levels, using communicative and learner-centered methodologies. Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans and classroom materials, teaching English as a foreign language, and supporting learners preparing for exams such as IELTS. The role involves assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with colleagues on curriculum and extracurricular activities. The teacher is expected to foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment and participate in school meetings, training, and development activities.
Qualifications
* Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching English as a Foreign Language skills, with the ability to adapt instruction to different proficiency levels.
* Candidates should possess effective Teaching and Lesson Planning skills to design structured, engaging, and goal-oriented lessons.
* Candidates should possess experience or familiarity with IELTS preparation and exam-focused teaching strategies.
* Candidates should possess excellent English language proficiency, both spoken and written, and clear classroom communication skills.
* Candidates should possess a relevant bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; TEFL/TESOL or similar certification is highly beneficial.
