Role Description The English Customer Service (Healthcare Account) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt. The role involves responding to inbound calls, emails, or chat messages from customers, addressing questions about healthcare services, billing, coverage, and account status in clear and accurate English. Team members handle inquiries, resolve issues, escalate complex cases to the appropriate departments, and document all interactions in the customer management system. Daily tasks include following established procedures, adhering to compliance and data privacy standards, meeting performance targets, and participating in coaching and training sessions to maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare policies and client-specific processes. The role requires a customer-centered approach, professional communication, and consistent collaboration with supervisors and peers to improve service quality.
Qualifications
- Strong English communication skills, including clear speaking, active listening, and professional writing for calls, emails, and chat.
- Customer service capabilities such as empathy, patience, problem-solving, and effective conflict resolution in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of healthcare-related concepts (e.g., insurance, benefits, billing) or willingness to learn through training.
- Computer literacy, including typing proficiency, multitasking across multiple systems, and accurate data entry.
- Ability to follow structured processes, adhere to compliance guidelines, maintain confidentiality, and meet quality and productivity targets.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays, as required by business needs.
- Previous experience in call centers, customer support, or healthcare service roles is an advantage but not strictly required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in any field is beneficial.
