Role PurposeThe role serves as a technical resource to support SEforALL’s expanding activities on energy efficiency in India, including supporting the advancement of national and state-level initiatives under the Mission Efficiency program. Reporting to the Senior Officer, India and Mission Efficiency the Energy Officer, India and Mission Efficiency will support the design and delivery of energy efficiency action plans, facilitate government engagement, and coordinate implementation of programs such as demand flexibility, appliance replacement program, ESCO projects, shared cooling infrastructure, building efficiency interventions. The incumbent will also contribute to developing data and analytics, preparing policy and technical briefs, and supporting resource mobilization to scale energy efficiency investments. This role is critical to driving India’s commitment to doubling energy efficiency.

*Required Education Requirements** A First Level University Degree (Bachelor’s Degree) in Energy, Business Management, Policy, Development Economics, Engineering or a related field is required
