The Site Finishing Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all finishing works on a construction site, ensuring that activities are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily finishing activities and workers on site.
- Coordinate works including plastering, painting, tiling, flooring, ceilings, carpentry, doors, joinery, waterproofing, and other architectural finishes.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Allocate tasks to workers and subcontractors based on project priorities.
- Monitor productivity and ensure work is completed within the planned schedule.
- Inspect completed and ongoing finishing works to ensure required quality standards are met.
- Coordinate with the Site Engineer regarding technical issues and required adjustments.
- Ensure materials are installed according to manufacturer recommendations and project specifications.
- Monitor the availability of finishing materials before work starts.
- Request materials and tools required for daily activities.
- Coordinate finishing activities with civil, MEP, electrical, plumbing, and other site teams.
- Report site issues, delays, and material shortages to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in construction finishing works, preferably in residential, commercial, hospitality, or high-end projects.
- Strong practical knowledge of finishing materials and techniques.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
- Experience supervising workers and subcontractors.
