Embedded Software Engineer-ECU
Gothenburg, Sweden
Role Summary:
We are looking for a Software Responsible to join the Software & Electronics team and contribute to the development of advanced hybrid and fully electric powertrain systems.
The role involves taking ownership of software for one or more ECUs or inverters and coordinating software development and delivery across internal engineering teams, suppliers, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the software component owner for one or more ECUs or inverters.
- Understand customer requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Lead and coordinate software deliverables with suppliers and customers.
- Coordinate the delivery and integration of Base Software (BSW) throughout different project phases.

Work closely with software and hardware engineers to ensure successful ECU/software integration.

Required Skills & Experience
-
Experience in automotive embedded software development.
- Experience working with ECUs, automotive software, or powertrain systems.
- Good understanding of ECU software and Base Software (BSW).
- Experience in software integration and coordination.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions.
- Experience working with external suppliers and internal cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AUTOSAR Classic / BSW.
- Experience in hybrid or electric vehicle powertrain systems.
- Knowledge of inverters and Electric Drive Units (EDUs).
- Experience with automotive software development processes such as ASPICE.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 / Functional Safety.
