Job Summary
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Operations Engineer to support cybersecurity operations, vulnerability remediation, security hardening, compliance requirements, and security controls. The role will work closely with IT and infrastructure teams to identify and address security risks and maintain a secure technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and support cybersecurity operations and security controls.
- Identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities across IT systems.
- Perform security hardening for servers, network devices, and infrastructure.
- Support implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity policies and controls.
- Assist with security assessments, audits, and compliance requirements.
- Investigate and resolve security-related issues and incidents.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, network, and IT teams on security requirements.
- Maintain security documentation, reports, and remediation records.
- Support continuous improvement of cybersecurity processes and controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in cybersecurity operations or a related role.
- Experience with vulnerability management, security hardening, and security controls.
- Good understanding of network, server, and infrastructure security.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- CompTIA Security+ or CEH certification preferred.
- CISSP or relevant vendor security certification is an advantage.
