Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Supervisor based at Royal View Resort in Beirut Governorate, Lebanon. The Construction Supervisor will oversee daily construction activities, coordinate site operations, and ensure that work is executed according to project plans, quality standards, and timelines. Responsibilities include supervising site teams and subcontractors, organizing and monitoring work schedules, and ensuring that materials, equipment, and resources are available and used efficiently. The role involves conducting regular site inspections, enforcing construction safety procedures, and documenting progress, issues, and corrective actions. The Construction Supervisor will also communicate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to report on site status, resolve technical or logistical challenges, and support the resort’s ongoing development and maintenance projects.
Qualifications
* Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills and proven experience in Site Supervision on construction or resort development projects.
* Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills, including the ability to coordinate with site teams, contractors, and management.
* Candidates should possess solid Inspection skills to review workmanship, verify compliance with plans and standards, and document findings.
* Candidates should possess knowledge of Construction Safety practices, including enforcing safety rules, identifying hazards, and promoting safe work habits.
* Relevant qualifications such as a technical diploma or degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field are beneficial.
* Experience in hospitality, resort, or commercial building projects, along with familiarity with local building codes and regulations, is an advantage.
* Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work on-site under varying conditions are important.
* Basic proficiency in project documentation, use of construction tools or software, and the ability to collaborate within a diverse team is preferred.
