Role Description The Business Development & Land Investment Consultant will develop and manage relationships with farmers, landowners, and potential investors, identifying opportunities for land acquisition, improvement, and agricultural projects. This contract role is on-site in Beirut and involves assessing land investment prospects, conducting financial and market analyses, and preparing business proposals and investment briefs. The consultant will collaborate with internal experts to design sustainable investment strategies, support clients in financial planning, and advise on tech-enabled agricultural solutions. Daily tasks include client meetings, site visits, preparing presentations, and maintaining a pipeline of leads and partnerships. The role also includes monitoring project performance, providing regular reports, and ensuring a high standard of customer service throughout the engagement cycle.
Qualifications
- * Strong Finance and Financial Planning skills to analyze projects, build models, and support clients in decision-making.
- Experience in Investments and Investment Strategies to evaluate land opportunities and structure attractive investment proposals.
- Proven Customer Service abilities to manage client relationships, address inquiries, and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Background in agriculture, agribusiness, real estate, or land management is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Agriculture, or a related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or French is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Beirut, conduct field visits, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
