Role DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled BIM Modeler to join our team in Lebanon, supporting our ongoing construction projects in the UAE.
The BIM Modeler will be responsible for developing, updating, and maintaining accurate Building Information Models (BIM) for MEP, architectural, and structural components. The role involves converting design and IFC documentation into detailed BIM models, coordinating between multiple disciplines, identifying clashes, and producing the drawings and technical information required for project execution.
The successful candidate will work closely with our engineering and project teams in Lebanon and the UAE to ensure BIM models accurately reflect project requirements, approved drawings, specifications, and site conditions.
Key Responsibilities Develop, update, and maintain detailed 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit. * Prepare shop drawings, coordinated drawings, sections, details, layouts, and schedules from BIM models. * Develop and coordinate MEP, Architectural, and Structural models based on project requirements. * Model and coordinate HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Drainage, Firefighting, and other building services as required. * Perform clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination using Navisworks. * Identify and resolve clashes, inconsistencies, and coordination issues between different disciplines. * Interpret and incorporate IFC drawings, design documents, consultant comments, RFIs, approved changes, and site information into BIM models. * Coordinate with engineers, architects, project managers, and UAE-based project/site teams. * Ensure models comply with the project's BIM Execution Plan (BEP), LOD requirements, naming conventions, specifications, and company standards. * Produce required 2D/3D views, schedules, drawings, and reports for project coordination and site execution. * Maintain proper model revisions, file organization, and version control. * Participate in BIM and technical coordination meetings as required. * Update models according to actual site conditions and assist in the preparation of as-built BIM models and drawings* for project handover.
Qualifications & Requirements Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related construction discipline. * Minimum 3–5 years of relevant BIM modeling experience within the construction, engineering, or contracting industry. * Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit. * Good working knowledge of Navisworks and AutoCAD. * Strong understanding of MEP systems and multidisciplinary BIM coordination. * Ability to read and interpret IFC drawings, construction drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. * Experience with clash detection, model coordination, LOD requirements, and BIM workflows. * Experience working on UAE or GCC construction projects is an advantage. * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple model revisions and work within project deadlines. * Good written and verbal communication skills in English. * Ability to effectively coordinate with multidisciplinary and remote project teams. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic project documentation* is beneficial.
