Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Cairo. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage into polished, engaging videos optimized for various digital platforms, with a strong focus on football content. Daily tasks include selecting and organizing clips, editing video and audio, adding motion graphics and basic visual effects, and applying color correction or grading to maintain a consistent visual style. The role involves close collaboration with producers, content writers, and social media teams to meet deadlines, follow brand guidelines, and adapt content for different formats and channels. The Video Editor will also help maintain an organized media library and stay current with editing trends, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including assembling footage, cutting sequences, syncing audio, and preparing content for multiple platforms.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with the ability to enhance visual consistency, mood, and overall image quality.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create intros, lower thirds, transitions, and simple visual effects that support storytelling.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, photoshop etc.) and basic audio editing tools.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with creative, editorial, and social media teams.
- Previous experience in sports or digital media, especially football content, is a strong advantage.
- Relevant education or training in Film, Media, Communication, or a related field is preferred but not required with equivalent experience.
