Vice President for Academic Affairs and Quality
We are seeking a highly qualified and visionary academic leader for the position of Vice President for Academic Affairs and Quality.
The successful candidate will provide strategic academic leadership and oversee all aspects of academic affairs and quality assurance to ensure excellence in teaching, learning, and institutional effectiveness. The role includes leading curriculum development, faculty recruitment and development, accreditation processes, and continuous quality improvement across all academic programs.
Key responsibilities include driving academic innovation, ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, enhancing student success outcomes, supporting research and scholarship, and strengthening external academic and industry partnerships.
Requirements:
• A PhD in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution is preferred, such as (Business Administration, Information Technology, or Communication & Multimedia).
• A minimum of 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in higher education, including senior academic or quality roles (e.g., Dean or equivalent)
• Proven track record in leading institutional and program accreditation processes aligned with national (e.g., BQA, NQF) and/or international standards
• Demonstrated experience in academic planning, curriculum development, and program innovation
• Strong strategic leadership with the ability to drive institutional transformation and academic excellence
• Established research profile with publications in reputable indexed journals
• Experience in developing international academic and industry partnerships
• Proven ability to lead and manage academic teams and drive performance outcomes
• Strong understanding of quality assurance systems, KPIs, and institutional effectiveness frameworks
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required
