Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Procurement Engineer role based in Beirut. The Senior Procurement Engineer is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier sourcing, evaluation, and selection for technical and facilities-related materials and services. Daily tasks include preparing and issuing requests for quotation (RFQs), analyzing bids, negotiating terms, and creating accurate purchase orders that align with project and operational requirements. The role also involves monitoring supplier performance, coordinating with engineering, operations, and finance teams, and ensuring compliance with company policies and cost, quality, and delivery targets. The Senior Procurement Engineer is expected to provide data-driven insights, maintain up-to-date procurement documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in supplier evaluation and performance monitoring, including assessing quality, cost, reliability, and compliance.
* Strong experience in handling requests for quotation (RFQ), bid analysis, and purchase order preparation and administration.
* Demonstrated analytical skills for cost comparison, data analysis, and decision-making in a technical procurement environment.
* Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration, negotiation with suppliers, and clear documentation.
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or architecture
* services, construction, industrial, or related technical sectors, preferably in a senior or lead procurement role.
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
* Familiarity with ERP or procurement systems and standard procurement best practices.
