Position
The Training Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive learning and development programs that align with organizational objectives. This role focuses on enhancing employee performance, developing leadership capabilities, and fostering a culture of continuous learning across teams.
Job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct training needs analyses across departments to identify skill gaps, performance drivers, and future capability requirements.
- Design, develop, and update engaging training curricula, workshops, e-learning modules, and onboarding programs.
- training sessions, workshops, and leadership development programs, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques and formats.
- Source, vet, and manage external training providers, consultants, and platform partners to supplement internal capabilities.
- Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure training effectiveness, return on investment (ROI), and employee adoption; continuously iterate programs based on feedback and analytics.
- Manage the annual Learning & Development budget, allocating resources efficiently across programs and technologies.
- Support organizational transformations and strategic rollouts by equipping employees with the necessary skills and mindsets. Profile
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, instructional design, or talent management, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field (master’s or relevant certification such as CPLP/ATD is a plus).
- Skills:
- Strong instructional design skills and familiarity with modern learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
- Excellent facilitation, public speaking, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Data-driven mindset with experience tracking training analytics and ROI.
