Technical Sales Engineer – Adhesives & Sealants

Ammon for Building Materials is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer – Adhesives & Sealants to support the growth and development of our adhesives, sealants, and construction chemicals division.
This role combines technical expertise, sales support, business development, and project sales. You will act as the product and category specialist, working closely with our sales team and customers to develop the brands in the Jordanian market.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and support the development of the product range
• Build strong technical knowledge of adhesives, sealants, PU foams, silicones, and related construction chemicals
• Provide technical support and product recommendations to our sales team and customers
• Accompany sales representatives on customer and project visits when technical support is required
• Support the sales team in achieving their targets within the category
• Identify new business opportunities with contractors, projects, workshops, industrial customers, and other relevant sectors
• Handle direct project sales and follow up on opportunities when required
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, trials, and technical training
• Follow up on product performance, customer feedback, technical issues, and competitor activity
• Identify opportunities for new products and improvements to the existing product range
• Build relationships with key customers, contractors, consultants, and industry professionals
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry or Business related fields
• Experience in sales of construction chemicals, adhesives, sealants, building materials, or a related industry is an advantage
• Strong technical understanding combined with a commercial and sales-oriented mindset
• Good communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable with fieldwork, customer visits, and construction/project sites
• Good command of Arabic and English
• Valid driving license
