Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cashier role based in Jal El Dib. The Cashier is responsible for processing member payments, issuing receipts, and handling cash and electronic transactions accurately and efficiently. Daily tasks include verifying transaction details, balancing the cash drawer at the end of each shift, and maintaining clear, organized records.
Qualifications
- Strong numeracy skills with accuracy in handling cash, checks, and electronic payments.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and basic office software (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with members and colleagues.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for record-keeping and end-of-day reconciliation.
- Ability to work on-site in Jal El Dib and maintain punctual, reliable attendance.
- Integrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality when dealing with financial information.
- Previous experience in cashiering, banking, or customer service is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or secondary education; additional training in finance or accounting is a plus.
