We're growing a dedicated team to manage a portfolio of clients who have outsourced their KSA (and increasingly UAE) accounting & tax needs to AstroLabs.
Who You Are, A Client-First KSA Tax Expert
You're an experienced accounting & tax professional with a strong track record in the Saudi market, with hands-on experience across but not limited to VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax, and Transfer Pricing.
You manage a multi-client portfolio with structure and diligence, and you're comfortable owning client relationships directly as a trusted advisor. UAE tax exposure is a plus.
What You'll Do, Key Responsibilities
Portfolio & Client Management
- Own end-to-end accounting & tax coordination for a dedicated portfolio of KSA clients who have outsourced their accounting & tax function to AstroLabs
- Act as the primary point of contact for portfolio clients, building trusted, long-term relationships
- Manage competing client deadlines with a structured, organized approach across the full portfolio
- Lead client onboarding, ensuring data collection, documentation, and process setup is clean and efficient
Tax Compliance & Advisory
- Prepare and review VAT, Withholding Tax (WHT), and Corporate Income Tax (CIT) filings for KSA clients
- Advise on and support Transfer Pricing matters and related documentation requirements
- Apply ZATCA regulations and e-invoicing requirements across client engagements
- Stay up to date on KSA regulatory and tax changes, flagging implications proactively to clients and internal stakeholders
- Support UAE client tax matters (VAT, Corporate Tax, E-Invoicing) as the UAE portfolio grows
Accounting & Reporting
- Apply KSA accounting principles to day-to-day bookkeeping and reporting for portfolio clients
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Utilize ERP software to deliver all required client tasks
- Prepare client-ready financial reports and respond to ad hoc client queries
Process & Team Contribution
- Contribute to building scalable internal processes as the service line grows
- Document best practices and support knowledge transfer within the team
- Partner with the sales team on scoping and technical input for prospective clients
What You Bring, Skills & Experience
Technical Tax Knowledge
- Strong command of KSA VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and Withholding Tax
- Hands-on Transfer Pricing experience
- Strong awareness of ZATCA regulations and e-invoicing practices
- Solid grasp of KSA accounting principles and general ledger management
- UAE tax exposure (VAT, Corporate Tax) is a strong plus
Portfolio & Client Management
- Proven ability to manage a multi-client portfolio without dropping details
- Comfortable owning client relationships directly, not just processing requests
- Structured, diligent approach to competing deadlines and priorities
- Experience leading client onboarding and relationship setup
Communication & Organization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Highly organized, with strong documentation habits
- Proactive in flagging regulatory changes and their client implications
Your Qualifications
- 4 to 6 years of experience in KSA accounting & tax
- Demonstrated experience working within the Saudi market is required
- Transfer Pricing experience is a major desirable skill and knowledge area
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification (e.g., SOCPA, ACCA, CPA) is a plus
