Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural technical office team and manage deliverables across multiple projects.
- Prepare, review, and approve shop drawings, coordination drawings, IFC drawings, and as-built documentation.
- Coordinate architectural works with structural and MEP teams, resolving clashes and technical discrepancies.
- Manage architectural BIM models, ensuring model integrity, LOD compliance, and adherence to the BIM Execution Plan.
- Review clash detection reports and oversee model-based quantity extraction.
- Prepare and follow up on RFIs, technical queries, and material submittals.
- Support tendering through quantity take-offs, scope reviews, and value engineering.
- Mentor architects, BIM modellers, and draftsmen, particularly in Revit workflows and drawing quality.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and consultant requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in architectural production and technical office work within construction or fit-out.
- At least 3 years in a Team Leader or Section Head role.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working on GCC projects, with knowledge of relevant codes and consultant approval processes.
- Proven experience producing and reviewing shop drawings and coordination drawings for live construction projects.
- Advanced Revit Architecture and AutoCAD skills, with working knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection.
- Strong experience in BIM model management and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Strong written and spoken technical English.
- Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare projects, including hospitals, clinics, or laboratories.
- Exposure to interior fit-out, joinery, and specialist finishes.
- Familiarity with BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or Dynamo.
