The Administrators shall be the Helpdesk POC for all theater NIPR and SIPR enterprise systems issues, create and/or manage trouble tickets, and monitor status and report outages to NOC Operations.

- * Operates and maintains all aspects of server administration to include, but is not limited to, Active Directory Organization Units (OU), objects (Users, Computers, MAB), security groups, Windows File Server, Network Policy Server (NPS), Domain Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Print Server, Internet Information Services (IIS), Application Servers such as GemOne.
- Modify, and deactivate user accounts as necessary.
- Knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft servers on NIPR, SIPR, and SIPR-REL.
- Use of Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) as directed.
- Utilize vSphere clients to conduct snapshots and monitor system availability.
- Perform regular maintenance, installing IAVA approved patches to enforce server security and maintain system availability.
- Maintains system hardening by following DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
- Perform SCAP (Security Content Automation Protocol) scans of servers and workstations to ensure STIG compliance. Upload the resulting CKLB files to eMASS as directed by IA.
- Utilize AESMP ticketing system to document troubleshooting steps prior to completing and or escalating to the next level of support.
- Performs other duties and assignments assigned.

- Education / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
- High school diploma required. Associates Degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field preferred.
- This position requires candidates to adhere to DoD 8570.01M. All candidates are required to maintain at least one (1) baseline certification and one (1) computing environment (CE) certification. Baseline certifications cannot also be used as a Computing Environment (CE) certification.

Experience:
- The Systems Administrator I is required to be an expert in all functions of both IAT Level I and IAT Level II positions relating to a Windows Server operating system environment.
- The Systems Administrator I must be able to apply extensive knowledge of a variety of the IA field’s concepts, practices, and procedures to ensure the secure integration and operation of all enclaves (NIPR, SIPR, etc.) systems.
- Must be able to rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals for the enclave environment.
- have at least five (5) years of practical experience working with Windows Server 2012 or higher operating systems (OS) and Active Directory tools.
- Candidate must possess a basic understanding of security principles and their application to an enterprise AD environment.

Working Environment
- The work environment will be 95% indoors and 5% outdoors.
- The outdoor work environment may exceed temperatures 100° F. Candidate must be able to physically withstand extreme heat.
Physical Requirements
- * Must be capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must be capable of wearing Personal Protective Equipment (helmet and plated vest) which can weigh 25 to 40lbs, for extended periods of time.
