Position: Supply Chain Specialist

Location: Al Safi Group HQ – Baghdad, Al - Yarmouk near the Green Apple
Responsibilities :
- Execute day-to-day supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory control, logistics coordination, and supplier management.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and operational requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities to maintain optimal stock availability.
- Track purchase orders, shipments, and deliveries to ensure on-time fulfillment and resolve any supply issues.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement, inventory, and supply chain transactions within the ERP system.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and support supplier performance evaluations.
- Assist in negotiating pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand material requirements and support business operations.
- Analyze supply chain data and prepare reports on procurement, inventory, and supplier performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve supply chain processes, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and procurement procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is a must .
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, & supply chain roles.
- supply chain procedures knowledge , contracts and supplier management.
- Experience in vendor negotiations and contract management.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain software.
