Job Opening: Structural Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer with a strong background in structural engineering projects in the United States (US) and proficiency in structural design and engineering software.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven experience working on structural engineering projects in the United States.
- Strong knowledge of US building codes and structural design standards.
- Hands-on experience with the following software:
- ForteWEB: For wood framing design.
- RISA-3D: For braced frame design and structural analysis.
- Mathcad: For wind load calculations and potentially shear wall design.
- Revit: For structural modeling and coordination.
- Solid understanding of structural calculations, load analysis, and design principles.
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with US-based engineering firms or projects.
- Practical experience with wood framing, braced frames, wind loading, and shear wall design.
