We are seeking a Structural Engineer to lead the structural design, analysis, and engineering delivery of major high-rise tower projects across the UAE. You will be responsible for tall building structural systems, deep foundation designs, seismic and wind load analysis, authority sign-offs, and technical site oversight from design development through to handover
Responsibilities
- Structural Design & Analysis: Direct structural concepts, detailed design, dynamic wind/seismic analysis, deep foundation design, and lateral force-resisting systems for tall structures.
- Technical Oversight: Review and approve structural calculations, drawings, BIM/3D models, methodology statements, and value engineering proposals.
- Site & Construction Support: Resolve complex on-site structural issues, oversee corewall/slab pour sequences, steel connection inspections, and post-tensioning works.
- Authority Approvals: Lead structural submissions and secure technical sign-offs with local municipal authorities and independent peer review consultants (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Municipality of Abu Dhabi, Civil Defense).
Requirements
- Experience: 15+ years of structural engineering experience, with a proven track record leading design and execution for major high-rise buildings in the UAE or GCC.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced expertise in ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, and REVIT; deep knowledge of international design codes (ACI, BS, Eurocodes, ASCE) and GCC local structural regulations.
- Education: B.Sc. in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s/Ph.D. preferred).
