yt.agency is hiring a Senior YouTube Strategist to lead strategy and growth across multiple YouTube channels. This is a full-time, remote role based in Egypt.
Responsibilities
• Own channel audits, positioning, audience research, competitor analysis, and actionable growth roadmaps across a portfolio of channels.
• Develop content strategies, editorial calendars, and repeatable long-form and Shorts formats aligned with each channel’s audience and business goals.
• Guide ideation, titles, thumbnails, hooks, storytelling, and retention; collaborate with writers, editors, designers, and channel managers.
• Use YouTube Analytics to assess impressions, CTR, retention, watch time, returning viewers, traffic sources, and subscriber growth; turn insights into prioritized experiments.
• Plan and evaluate packaging tests, improve publishing workflows, and communicate performance, learnings, and next steps to stakeholders.
• Maintain platform-policy awareness and protect each channel’s brand and content quality.
Requirements
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience managing and developing strategies for multiple YouTube channels.
• A demonstrable portfolio of channels, with clear examples of your responsibilities, strategic decisions, and measurable results.
• Strong expertise in YouTube Analytics, audience development, content planning, title and thumbnail strategy, and viewer retention.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional creative teams and managing priorities across several channels.
• Clear communication, sound analytical judgment, and the ability to work independently in a remote team.

Compensation
