Key Skills
Develop, write, edit, and maintain technical documentation for border-security programmes and related technology solutions.
Produce system descriptions, user manuals, operating procedures, maintenance manuals, technical proposals, reports, concept documents, and training materials.
Translate complex technical, operational, and engineering information into clear, well-structured documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
Work closely with engineers, solution architects, project managers, operations teams, and subject-matter experts to collect, validate, and document technical content.
Develop content required to deploy systems designs, civil works, installation, integration of complex security systems
Support the development of tender responses, statements of work, technical submissions, project plans, and customer presentations when required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, International Relations, Security Studies, Linguistics, or a related discipline.
Minimum 7–10 years of experience as a Technical Writer, Documentation Specialist, Technical Communications Specialist, or similar role.
Native or near-native Spanish language proficiency, with the ability to write formal, accurate, and professional technical documentation in Spanish is a must.
