- Manage the commercial and quantity surveying aspects of construction and refurbishment works throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide cost management and commercial support for both civil/building and MEP works.
- Prepare, review, and manage quantities, valuations, variations, claims, and cost reports.
- Monitor project costs and commercial performance against the approved budget.
- Review contractor submissions, measurements, payment applications, and supporting documentation.
- Support the assessment and management of variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, and site teams to ensure accurate commercial management across all disciplines.
- Provide commercial advice and identify potential cost and contractual risks.
Qualifications
- Degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant UAE experience.
- Proven experience in construction and refurbishment projects.
- Good understanding of both civil/building and MEP works, with the ability to manage commercial aspects across both disciplines.
- Strong experience in Quantity Surveying and Cost Management.
- Experience in post-contract commercial management, including valuations, variations, claims, cost reporting, and final accounts.
- Candidates based in Abu Dhabi are preferred. Candidates based elsewhere must be willing and able to commute to Abu Dhabi daily.
- MRICS is preferred but not required.
- The position may be considered at QS or Project QS level, depending on the candidate’s experience and suitability.
