About the Client:
A well-established Bahraini fashion house known for blending traditional Middle Eastern heritage with contemporary fashion.
Job Description:
- Lead the complete design process from concept, trend research and collection development through sampling, fitting and final production.
- Create professional design illustrations, patterns, draping and production sketches, using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Corel.
- Lead, guide and handle a team of 2–3 Fashion Designers, allocating projects and ensuring designs meet company's creative direction, quality standards and deadlines.
- Select appropriate fabrics/materials, calculate fabric consumption and production time for cost control, while ensuring collections align with the company's commercial direction.
Qualifications:
- With minimum 3 years' Fashion Design experience, with sustainable/ethical fashion exposure.
- Strong sketching and fashion illustration skills with a portfolio demonstrating previous work.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Corel, with strong technical knowledge of pattern making, draping, garment construction, textiles and manufacturing processes.
- Diploma/degree in Fashion Design preferred, with good communication skills and ability to work under deadlines
